My new laundry room...

It is still a work in progress, but it is coming along.

I now have a place to hang dry my laundry....

and a place to fold my clothes.

I just still need to move some things out that need to go into the garage, but our garage is full of appliances right now. Oh, how nice it would to use those new appliances!

My weeks eating plan....

Tonight...Meat Market and have a BBQ at home. I am tired of going somewhere to eat.
Trader Joe's run for breakfast items. I really like their multi-grain french toast and so do the kids.
Costco run for chips for lunches to pack for Chris, slim fast for my breakfast which really controls my weight. Happy to say I have lost a size, one more size to go and I will be back to my normal size!

I invited ourselves over to my in-laws house for Tuesday, dinner at my parent's on Wednesday and hopefully my nephew will get better so we can go back over to my sisters.

We are all grumpy and tired. We had some electrical issues this week which put our Contractor back 3 days and it still is not fixed. I think the 6 week time line will be more like 8-10 weeks. That is what I figured, but it is hard right now since we can not see the progress with them doing all the plumbing and electrical work. So that is my beef and hopefully will see progress soon!

The Luck of the Irish

Okay, I am not Irish but hey, I will wear green tomorrow. Last night we went to Chris' parents for out annual cornbeef and cabbage. I do like cornbeef but never think about making it any other time. So, if you are Irish....Happy St. Patricks Day!

What should we do for dinner tomorrow night? Give me some ideas of cheap but somewhat healthy places to eat.

Homemade Stain Remover

Found this on a blog and wanted to post it and try it out for myself:

Homemade Laundry Stain Remover

I was skeptical of this one at first, but I’ve got two boys that are dirt and grass-stain magnets, and this stain remover has never let me down!

1/3 cup Dawn Dishsoap
1/3 cup Ammonia
3 Tbsp. Baking Soda
1 cup Water

Mix all ingredients together and store in an empty spray bottle (I use an old “Shout” spray bottle.)

Gross!

This is the side of the sink. Nice and rusty with holes in the metal.

I see the light!

Yes, no more kitchen. My biggest complaint is, "why is that oven still in my kitchen!" Get rid of it already would ya!
