I Want Brownies!!

I want brownies. I want an oven to bake something in! I have not baked anything in 6 weeks! That is a record for me! So, I had this bright idea that I am going to start making cakes when my kitchen is done. I think I need to take a cake decorating class like Cindy did. I am not sure where I want to start first...pies, cakes, cookies, bread etc....Please finish my kitchen soon! I need some baked yummies!

Agenda for the kitchen this week. Tomorrow, finish the woodwork and prep for the paint. Friday they can start painting!! I picked a light green color, "Ocean Pearl." I hope it turns out nice.


So, if anyone wants to make brownies next week and bring them to our next MOPS meeting...I would LOVE you! I will bring something store bought..hehe!

Say What God?

So today as I was sitting in church with my cup of coffee and God told me to give something up for him. I have been thinking about it, for lent, but never did anything.

I am giving up COFFEE for 40 DAYS! Coffee is the first thing I think about in the morning. I will go out of my way to get a coffee. I have been spending too much money on coffee since we do not have a kitchen. This is big for me and I am sure that I will be grumpy for the next week, but God asked me, "Am I worth it?" and I replied, "Yes, You are."

Why am I telling you all? If I do not, I may not. If it is in writting, I know I have to follow through and that this is real. Good thing most of you will not see me this week! Ha!

OMG!~ I did not think it would be this hard! I can't believe how addicted I became to my coffee!

Here is the progess....
This is where the stove will be and to the left will be my baking center. I got one of those shelves that you put your mixer on it and it slides down into the cabinet and when you want it you just lift it up. I am very excited about that feature!

The frig is going here with a small pantry. I never had a place to put our food before.

The sink area. We love our window and the place where the dishwasher is going to go. We had them install a trash bin inside the cabinets. One for trash, one for cans.

They say about 3 more weeks. Next week they start the painting and after they paint, the cabinet maker will come back and put on the doors and crown molding.

It's a Good Friday....

because Christ died on the Cross for my sins! Can't wait for tomorrow's Easter Brigade at Church! The kids will have so much fun this year!

Also, my cabinets are being installed today (Pictures will come soon)! And, We are going to the Grizzlies game tonight!

And, little missie is still napping. She has been down since 1pm and she fell asleep in the car on the way home!

Today is a good day:)

So what does our kitchen look like?

Tomorrow they are installing the window and doing the texture on the walls and Friday they will install the cabinets. I will post pictures after that...yeah...progress!

Boys and a Tutu....

My friend made little missie a tutu (I think that is how you spell it?). Of course little missie wanted it off and little man wanted to try it on. Oh his dad will be so proud!!!!

Nothing like a worker hat and a tutu!


Can't wait to show his girlfriend in 16 years!!
